Community Grants

 

Through the SACIC Grant Program, we invest in projects that move Sylvania forward. These grants are designed to support innovative, community-focused initiatives that contribute to economic development, placemaking, and shared community success.

Applications must be submitted by March 13.

Recent Community Grants

 

For many years, SACIC has awarded $5,000 in grants to help non-profit organizations promote their mission with an emphasis on benefitting the citizens of the Sylvania area. The program looks for proposals that might help retain or create jobs, contribute to community wellbeing, generate tourism, or in some way help drive the local economy forward. Applications for the grants usually are available in January and the grants are awarded in February.
